dress: french connection / cardigan: l. l. bean, thrifted / shoes: keds Sometimes it's best to go back to basics. This dress got a lot of wear during the school year because it's so classic, simple, and versatile. I'm a big fan of stripes and the stretchy fabric makes it so comfy to wear. It's one of those pieces that's good for going out but can also be worn for a day when you just stay at home and chill.
This big ol' cardigan is one of my favorite items of clothing. It's so huge but so warm and comfy. I wear it all the time in the house, and I wore it nearly every day in the fall/winter of my senior year of high school. Tight, form-fitting cardigans can seem so secretary-like (nothing wrong with that, just not my personal style) and although I do have a few fitted cardigans, I reserve them for work and for more formal occasions. But there is nothing as soothing and comfy as a baggy guy cardigan. It's almost like wearing a blanket. So I strongly recommend you get down to the thrift store and pick yourself up a huge cardigan to wear all the time. It's a worthy investment. Pair it with a comfy dress, and you've got a go-to whatever outfit!
